Her Majesty The Queen became President of Maggie's in November 2008.
Marking the start of 30 years of Maggie鈥檚
In January, Her Majesty The Queen praised Maggie鈥檚 for its care and support for people impacted by cancer over the last 30 years, in a special speech to mark 30 years of 蘑菇视频 expert care and support.
In her speech, Her Majesty commended 蘑菇视频 for creating places where people 鈥渘eedn鈥檛 pretend to be fine, where they can receive expert support, sympathy and a cup of tea鈥︹��

Her Majesty The Queen's centre visits
Passionate and committed to our work, and one of our greatest advocates. We approached Her Majesty to request her formal appointment as 蘑菇视频 President in 2008.
As Maggie鈥檚 President, Her Majesty has brought great joy to many of the people who use our centres, and we are hugely grateful for her passion and continued unswerving commitment.
Since 2008, Her Majesty has visited many of our centres in England, Scotland and Wales.
Her visits made a huge impact and her warmth and generosity of spirit were greatly appreciated by everyone who met her.
